Class & Camp Policies
Payment Confirmation
Once you register and pay, you will receive a payment receipt and confirmation email containing information on what kids should bring and wear, etcetera (this information can also be found below).
Camp Attendance
Camp activities build on each other during the week, so missing a day can make it harder for kids to stay fully involved. If your child misses a day, we’ll do our best to help them catch up or offer an alternative process or project.
Cancellations & Refunds
For Camps:
You may receive a full refund (minus a $50 cancellation fee) if you cancel at least one week before camp begins
For last-minute illness or emergency, we’ll offer credit toward another camp
No refunds for missed camp days, but we’ll do our best to provide a take-home project your child can complete later to help make up for some of the missed camp experience
For Classes at Splashing Cat Studio:
We don’t offer refunds for missed days, but we’re happy to apply a credit toward a future class for each missed day. Please notify us about the absence as soon as possible, preferably before the class/camp start time.
If the instructor needs to cancel due to illness or inclement weather, we will notify you by email and text and apply a credit toward a future class.
For Enrichment Classes at Elementary Schools:
If parents/guardians cancel 7+ days before a session begins, they may receive either a full refund (minus a $25 administrative fee) or credit toward a future session
Full refunds are available if a session is cancelled due to low enrollment
No refunds available after a session begins
No refunds or make-ups for absences, but we’ll do our best to provide a take-home project your child can complete later to help make up for some of the missed camp experience
If the instructor cancels or school is cancelled due to inclement weather or other reason, a make-up class will be offered
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Please drop off your child no more than 10 minutes before class or camp starts, and plan to pick them up promptly afterwards. For safety, we will only release children to the authorized adults listed on your registration form.
Behavior Code
Splashing Cat Studio aims to provide a fun, safe, welcoming, and productive environment for all. Our program teaches students how to use art tools and materials safely and responsibly. To maintain a positive environment, we do not allow misuse of supplies, physical aggression, inappropriate physical contact, bullying, offensive language, or name-calling. Students who break these rules may be dismissed from the program without a refund.
